APF 50 COMPOUND MICRO-GRAPHITE IN SOLVENT
DESCRIPTION
APF 50 COMPOUND is a dispersion of quality
grade micro-graphite in a combination of organic
solvents and special resins. This product has been
specifically formulated as a billet end paint for
aluminum extrusion
DILUTION
APF 50 COMPOUND is normally applied to billet
as is. For those who prefer a less concentrated
coating, isopropanol may be used as a diluent.
For optimum results, agitate concentrate
before applying to billet or diluting. Add diluent
slowly to concentrate with agitation. Dilute with
enough isopropanol to get desired viscosity for the
particular method of application. Adjust dilution
ratio on the job to meet specific requirements and
economics
NOTE
APF 50 COMPOUND is also used as a
durable “Transition Plate” coating. APF
50 COMPOUND promotes excellent
finish to billets, dries quickly to form a
dry film bond, and does not contain
xylene. Mix thoroughly prior to use.
