Our History
Founded in 1975
Michigan Industrial Products got its start by specializing in die lubes for the forging industries back in 1975. It all began when our founder, Richard Hartnett, rented a small space in a large chemical manufacturing facility in Port Huron, Michigan which subsequently burned down less than 1-year later. This forced our young company to “rise from the ashes” and move to a little cinder block building out in the countryside . . .
